Welcome

In June 2014, the first Global Congress on Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction (LUTD) took place in Brussels, Belgium. More than 500 participants and 39 multidisciplinary faculty members discussed LUTD in depth during 3 days in the heart of Europe, Brussels. Reactions of experts, delegates and sponsors were unanimous: “Constructive debates and interactions. New topics and high quality and level of presentations.”“Brilliant event & happy to attend it again." and “I can better serve my target groups now.”
The second edition took place on 25 and 26 June 2015 in Rome, Italy. It confirmed all high expectations, with a challenging but exciting programme with an excellent multidisciplinary faculty interacting with a highly interested audience, brought together in the wonderful venue of the Santo Spirito in Sassia.

This third edition of the Global Congress on LUTD will continue to in depth and beyond geographical and disciplinary boundaries, offering an exciting and fully up-to-date programme.

As this congress aims to be the major educational multidisciplinary event purely focusing on LUTD, we hope to attract up to 500 delegates from various specialties actively contributing by discussing their vision on how to translate the scientific clinical evidence into best daily practice.

When we, as an organising committee, were elaborating together the concept and programme of this congress, we felt that there are many topics related to LUTD where there is limited clinical evidence from randomised controlled trials (RCTs); still we need to make clinical decisions every day. Unfortunately many of these situations are not addressed in depth at congresses today.  In order to do so, we need to go in depth and beyond classical congress formats and share clinical knowledge and practical experience.

Company-sponsored satellite symposia will spice up the programme, and as many novelties are becoming available, these sessions will attract a lot of attention and will contribute to the completeness of the scientific programme. An exhibition will take place in a cosy atmosphere filled with good vibrations and will be the centre for pleasant face-to-face communication, to encourage new contacts and to strengthen the old ones.

We are very proud of the team of experts we have brought together. Their fabulous amount of expertise and different backgrounds will help us to create a high-quality congress.

Let us all meet at the unique Liechtenstein Garden Palace.

We look forward sharing some exciting days with you.

Welcome to Vienna!
